I fasten my desires to my waist,
I bind my will to the curves of my back
I will wrestle all night for my will to stand, for my will is like molten fire.
I will wrestle with weariness and pride weighing heavily on my shoulders, I will wrestle.
I will pray the heart of God to my dreams and I will bind my body to the horns of the altar until I emerge victorious with my desires tied to my waist like prized jewels.
He will beckon me to sit at His feet, and I will begrudgingly comply, arriving with my face painted with pride.
I will gaze at His feet as He speaks words that drop like rain on molten fire.
I will rise, weakened in body, empty of my desires, and submissive in my will, for in my sitting, I had wrestled with God, and He had tugged at the strings of my heart.
In His tugging, He created a hollow for His will to dwell.
